A part of American history, this barn is a significant and versatile structure from Stoystown, Pennsylvania, one of the oldest towns west of the Allegheny Mountains. The industries and trade at Stoystown made it the principal commercial center of Somerset County in the 1800s. This antique barn has an expansive 50x80 foot footprint and a generous 24x80 foot core frame, providing a versatile foundation for a variety of projects.
The barn's signature feature is its distinctive "monitor-look" off bays, which can be lowered to create a dramatic interior space. Constructed with hand-hewn oak timbers, this barn has all the key features of a heritage reclaimed barn. The structure's solid foundation and well-preserved frame are incredible examples of Pennsylvania craftsmanship, ideal for reerection as a home or event venue.
